Minkah Fitzpatrick Snaps Jets' Historic Interception Drought
New York Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick intercepted a second-quarter pass from Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent, snapping an NFL-record 20-plus game and 636-pass interceptionless drought. Fitzpatrick stepped in front of Colston Loveland at his own 39-yard line and returned the pick 27 yards. It marked the franchise's first interception since the 2024 regular-season finale and the first under head coach Aaron Glenn.
