Evgeni Malkin Stays Hot With Three Points in Overtime Win

Evgeni Malkin scored a power-play goal, distributed two assists, and served two PIM in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Canadiens. He tallied the lone goal of the first period before assisting linemate Tommy Novak twice, including the game-winner. Through two appearances, the veteran forward has four points, a plus-two rating, and three shots on net, already posting two power-play goals after scoring just four with a man advantage last season.
