Xavier Legette Placed on Injured Reserve with Knee Injury

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette has been placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury, ruling him out for Sunday night's matchup against the Detroit Lions and forcing him to miss at least the next four games. His absence leaves Carolina shorthanded in the receiving corps, placing greater reliance on rookie Tetairoa McMillan and the tight end room to power the passing offense.
