Matthew Schaefer Sets Up Two Goals in Islanders' 6-0 Win Over Devils

New York Islanders defenseman Matthew Schaefer delivered a standout performance in Saturday's 6-0 home-opener victory over the New Jersey Devils, recording two assists. Schaefer generated momentum by swatting a puck out of the air to set up Bo Horvat's power-play goal, and his rebound off the boards led directly to Brayden Schenn's tally. The rookie drew enthusiastic chants from the UBS Arena crowd during player introductions, showcasing his key role in New York's dominant offensive display.
