Brian Burns Out for Season After Tearing ACL

New York Giants outside linebacker Brian Burns has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL last week. Burns, who recorded 16.5 sacks last season, leaves a major void in the Giants' pass rush. Defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson and the coaching staff are looking to move pieces around and improve initial get-offs. Kayvon Thibodeaux will move into the starting lineup to replace Burns as the Giants prepare to face the Arizona Cardinals.
