Brandon Hagel Dishes Two Assists in Lightning Home Opener Win

Tampa Bay Lightning winger Brandon Hagel registered his first two points of the season with a pair of assists in Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Washington Capitals. Hagel set up Charle-Edouard D'Astous early in the first period before assisting Conor Geekie's late opening-frame tally, while also logging a game-high six shots on goal. Skate-and-pass dynamic with top-line unit partner Nikita Kucherov helped spark the offense after Tampa Bay opened the year with a 5-1 defeat.
