Isaiah Williams Faces Early-Season Struggles and Fumble Issues

Following a stellar 2025 season as the New York Jets' primary punt returner with 396 yards and two touchdowns, Isaiah Williams has struggled to start 2026. After recording multiple fumbles in a rain game against Green Bay, his average has dropped to 6.2 yards per return, ranking him last in multiple categories. While the sample size is small, his recent lack of returns raises concerns, prompting the Jets to sign Jamaal Pritchett off the practice squad as a potential alternative option.
