Braxton Jones Lands on Injured Reserve With Right Knee Injury

Chicago Bears starting left tackle Braxton Jones has been placed on injured reserve after sustaining a right knee injury during the team's Week 3 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones did not practice all week and will miss at least the next four games. Head coach Ben Johnson announced that Theo Benedet will get the start at left tackle against the New York Jets, as alternative option Ozzy Trapilo continues working his way back from his own knee injury.
