Aaron Judge Excluded from Yankees ALDS Roster to Continue Calf Rehab

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone left captain Aaron Judge off the 26-man ALDS roster against the Tampa Bay Rays as Judge continues recovery from a right calf strain suffered Sept. 16. Boone noted Judge wanted to play as a pinch-hitter, but the team opted to give him additional time at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa to ramp up his running and baseball activities in hopes of having him ready for a potential ALCS appearance.
