Robbie Ray Gets The Ball For Padres In Game 1 Versus Brewers

Trade deadline acquisition Robbie Ray will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Acquired from the San Francisco Giants, the 2021 AL Cy Young winner went 3-2 with a 5.02 ERA in nine games with San Diego. Manager Craig Stammen plans to have Ray navigate the early frames against the Brewers lineup before leaning heavily on a deep Padres bullpen.
