J.J. McCarthy Learning Giants Offense as Fan Anticipation Mounts

New York Giants quarterback J.J. McCarthy is taking a day-by-day approach to master the team's playbook following his trade from the Minnesota Vikings for a fifth-round pick. Acquired after starter Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending injury, McCarthy brings 10 career starts, impressive mobility, and a fifth-year option to New York. While Jameis Winston currently remains the starter, fan sentiment strongly anticipates McCarthy taking over under center as he grasps the system.
