Yankees Consider Ryan Weathers for Bullpen Role in ALDS Against Rays

Left-hander Ryan Weathers has a strong chance to join the New York Yankees' ALDS roster against Tampa Bay after recovering from a late-season left forearm flexor strain. After missing the wild-card roster to sharpen up with a second live batting practice on Monday and a Wednesday bullpen session, Weathers feels fully healthy. Manager Aaron Boone stated Weathers could play a "massive role" out of the bullpen with favorable off days following Games 1, 2, and 4.
