Hoyt Stanley Sent Down to Belleville by Ottawa Senators

Hoyt Stanley has been returned to the Belleville Senators from Ottawa's 23-man roster. Stanley had been a surprise addition to the opening roster largely due to injuries affecting defensemen Jake Sanderson and Artem Zub. With Sanderson expected to return for Saturday's season opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Stanley was reassigned to the minors to continue his development.
