Khaman Maluach Makes Strong Case for Phoenix Suns Starting Center Job

Khaman Maluach is making a compelling bid for the Phoenix Suns' starting center spot following Mark Williams' shoulder injury. The 7'1" sophomore dominated Summer League with 19.5 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 40% from deep. Star guard Devin Booker lauded Maluach for taking the biggest leap of anyone on the team this summer. Maluach is competing with Oso Ighodaro ahead of the October 21 season opener.
