Michael Toglia Claimed Off Waivers by Seattle Mariners

The Seattle Mariners claimed slugger Michael Toglia off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds. The 28-year-old switch-hitter played 10 games for Cincinnati in 2026 before his season ended on Aug. 21 due to a dislocated right shoulder and torn labrum suffered while diving in left field. Toglia hit 22 home runs in 97 Triple-A games this year and previously hit 25 big-league homers with Colorado in 2024, giving Seattle an intriguing power addition with a top-100 prospect pedigree.
