Victor Figueroa Mash 27 Home Runs to Lead Orioles Minor Leaguers

First baseman Victor Figueroa blasted 27 home runs this season, the most of any Orioles minor leaguer, hitting 22 for High-A Frederick and 5 for Chesapeake. The 22-year-old former Padres pick batted with a .935 OPS against right-handers, but struggled with lefties at .638 and struck out in over 30% of plate appearances with 155 Ks. His immense power provides potential value as a bench bat despite a lengthy swing and below-average athleticism limiting his overall profile.
