Joey Porter Jr. Fully Cleared for Debut After Trade to Cowboys
Newly acquired Dallas Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr. does not carry an injury designation and is trending toward his team debut against Houston. Acquired from Pittsburgh for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick after negotiations where Executive V.P. Stephen Jones called the initial asking price hefty, Porter is fully cleared. Though he missed the summer with a back injury, coach Brian Schottenheimer praised his preparation as a win-now sign.
