Cameron Carr Earns Praise From Lakers Coach JJ Redick at Camp

Los Angeles Lakers rookie wing Cameron Carr received early acclaim from head coach JJ Redick during training camp. While Redick acknowledged that Carr is still navigating typical rookie adjustments—even requiring a quick timeout for instruction during a scrimmage—he highlighted Carr's ability to pick up concepts fast. Carr faces a steep climb for playing time among a deep group of wings, but Redick expects him to see opportunities this season.
