Chris Sale Delivers Electric Postseason Relief Outing For Braves

Ace Chris Sale pitched 1.1 scoreless innings on one day of rest to close out Atlanta's 6-2 victory over Philadelphia in Game 3 of the NL Wild Card Series. Allowing just one hit with three strikeouts and five whiffs on 21 pitches, the veteran left-hander followed up his 95-pitch start in Game 1 with an electric four-out relief appearance. His quick turnaround makes him a logical candidate to pitch early in the upcoming NLDS matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
