Joey Daccord Gets Nod to Start Season Opener for Seattle Kraken

Joey Daccord will tend the goal for the Seattle Kraken in their season opener on Thursday against the Flames. Daccord looks to rebound from the 2025-26 campaign where he posted a 20-20-6 record, 3.03 GAA, and an .896 save percentage across 47 appearances. With Philipp Grubauer waiting in the wings, a slow start could potentially lead to an even time-share in the Kraken crease this season.
