Austin Ekeler Positioned for Expanded Role if Rachaad White Misses Out

Recently signed running back Austin Ekeler could be asked to handle passing-down duties for the Washington Commanders if starter Rachaad White is unable to play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts in London. White has missed consecutive practices with a shoulder injury, leaving the backfield rotation vulnerable and opening a potential opportunity for Ekeler alongside Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Kaytron Allen.
