Brandin Cooks Elevated to Active Roster Amid 49ers Injury Crisis

The San Francisco 49ers are elevating veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks from the practice squad to the active roster to help offset mounting injuries. With Mike Evans questionable due to a rib injury and KhaDarel Hodge sidelined with a knee issue—prompting his release from the practice squad—the 33-year-old Cooks joins Deebo Samuel, Jacob Cowing, and Jordan Watkins as available active wideouts to provide depth for Sunday's matchup against the Denver Broncos.
