Hunter Brown Flounders as Astros Suffer Elimination in Game 2

Houston Astros ace Hunter Brown took the loss in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series, surrendering four runs (three earned) on five hits while recording just two outs in a 7-3 elimination defeat to the Chicago White Sox. Delivering his shortest outing of the year, Brown retired only two of nine batters faced. The poor postseason showing follows a regular season where he posted a 3.19 ERA and 1.27 WHIP across 107.1 innings despite missing two months with a shoulder strain.
