Wizards Rookie AJ Dybantsa Lands Major News Before NBA Debut

Washington Wizards rookie AJ Dybantsa has yet to make his NBA debut, but the No. 1 overall pick is already getting star treatment as the cover athlete for 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball. The BYU product is unconcerned with outside expectations or pressure as he prepares for the season. Teammate Anthony Davis has anointed him a 'special talent,' and Dybantsa is focused on building his shot diet around rim attempts and free throws to develop on-ball efficiency in Washington.
