Sonny Styles Named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Washington Commanders rookie linebacker Sonny Styles was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week following a stellar performance in a 33-31 win over Seattle, recording five tackles, an interception, a pass breakup, a forced fumble, a quarterback hit, and two passes defensed. Taking over defensive playcalling duties and playing every snap, Styles becomes the first Washington defender to win the award since 2020 after anchoring the defense through the first three weeks.
