J.J. McCarthy Participates in First Practice With New York Giants

The New York Giants acquired quarterback J.J. McCarthy from the Minnesota Vikings for a fifth-round pick following Jaxson Dart's season-ending injury. Jim Harbaugh confirmed he discussed the trade with brother John Harbaugh. McCarthy participated in individual drills during his first practice on Wednesday, taking reps behind Jameis Winston and Jake Haener.
