Ben Rice Powers Yankees With Two Homers And Six RBIs In Game 1 Win

New York Yankees designated hitter Ben Rice went 4-for-5 with six RBIs, tying a franchise postseason record in a 9-0 Wild Card Game 1 win over the Boston Red Sox. He hit a solo home run off Erik Miller and capped his night with an eighth-inning grand slam off Brayan Bello, becoming the first Yankees player with multiple homers and a grand slam in a playoff game.
