Jake Bobo: Seattle Seahawks Sign Defensive Lineman Gary Smith III to Practice Squad

Following a 33-31 loss to the Washington Commanders, the Seattle Seahawks made adjustments on Tryout Tuesday by signing defensive tackle Gary Smith III to the practice squad, releasing nose tackle Uso Seumalo. Smith was college teammates with Jake Bobo at Duke for the 2020 and 2021 seasons before both transferred to UCLA for the 2022 season alongside Zach Charbonnet. Smith went undrafted this spring and spent training camp with the Las Vegas Raiders.
