Alec Pierce Reinjures Heel and Faces Extended Absence on IR

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is on injured reserve and will miss multiple games after reinjuring his left heel in Week 2. Head coach Shane Steichen confirmed Pierce is using a scooter and heavy cast but has no immediate surgery planned, hoping to rehab for a midseason return. The Colts signed Darius Slayton to bolster the position.
