Matthew Stafford Struggles as Rams' Short Passing Game Stalls

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is struggling through a 1-2 start, highlighted by an anemic short passing game. Stafford ranks 32nd in PFF passing grade on throws between 0-9 yards, completing 37 of 48 attempts for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on such plays. Coming off a loss to Denver where he went 30 of 55 for 390 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions under heavy pressure, Stafford hopes the return of wideout Puka Nacua will revitalize the offense.
