CJ Abrams Puts Up Career Year With Washington Nationals

Washington Nationals shortstop CJ Abrams capped off a stellar 2026 campaign with career-best offensive production, hitting .261 with 33 home runs, 106 RBI, and 34 stolen bases. Earning his first career 30-30 season and finishing tied for fifth in the majors in RBI, Abrams anchored the Nationals' cleanup spot. Despite enduring a difficult August slump and committing 20 defensive errors that led to a mid-season move to second base, he finished strong to post 3.7 fWAR.
