Detroit Lions Face Roster Decisions as Center Juice Scruggs Excels

Detroit Lions backup center Juice Scruggs has emerged as one of the NFL's premier interior linemen, ranking fourth among centers with a 71.5 PFF grade and anchoring a rush attack ranking sixth in success rate. Coach Dan Campbell praised Scruggs' high-energy fit. However, Detroit faces a crossroads as injured guard Cade Mays nears a return around their Week 6 bye, potentially forcing Scruggs into a competition at left guard to keep his stellar play on the field.
