Baker Mayfield Sidelined at Least Three Weeks With Dislocated Thumb

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield will miss a minimum of three weeks after dislocating his thumb late in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Coach Todd Bowles confirmed that undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels will step in as the starter against the Green Bay Packers. Mayfield's absence creates a massive hurdle for the winless Buccaneers, who are desperate to reverse an early-season slump and avoid digging an insurmountable hole in the standings.
