Caleb Lomu Enters Right Tackle Mix For New England Patriots

New England Patriots rookie first-round draft pick Caleb Lomu saw his first extended action in a blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Entering in the late third quarter after backup right tackle Greg Van Roten suffered a thigh injury and starter Morgan Moses was hampered by a foot injury, Lomu logged 26 total snaps—20 at right tackle and six as an extra blocking tight end. Head coach Mike Vrabel noted the substitution was made to get the rookie valuable reps.
