Mykel Williams Set to Open Practice Window From PUP List

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Mykel Williams is set to have his practice window opened this week after starting the season on the PUP list following a torn ACL and meniscus suffered last November. While not eligible to play this week against the Broncos, his return to practice puts him on track for a potential season debut in Week 5 against the Seahawks, providing a major boost to the 49ers' run defense.
