Brock Faber Lands on Injured Reserve with Upper-Body Injury

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber will begin the 2026-27 regular season on injured reserve after suffering an upper-body injury in Friday's preseason game against Dallas. Faber is coming off a breakout 2025-26 campaign where he set career highs with 15 goals, 51 points, and 148 blocked shots across 80 games. He is slated to rejoin Quinn Hughes on Minnesota's top defensive pairing once healthy.
