Justin Jefferson Ruled Out Early With Ankle Sprain Against Bucs

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson suffered a left ankle eversion sprain in the first half of Sunday's 23-16 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jefferson caught both of his targets for 32 yards before exiting to the locker room. Head coach Kevin O'Connell noted after the game that Jefferson nearly returned to the contest and expressed optimism that the star receiver will not miss significant time.
