Leo Chenal Carted Off Field with Severe Neck Injury

Washington Commanders linebacker Leo Chenal suffered a serious neck injury during the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks following a head-first collision with running back Emmanuel Wilson. Chenal was immobilized on a backboard and carted off the field, though team reports indicated he retained feeling and movement in his extremities. Kain Medrano stepped in at linebacker to replace Chenal, who was already starting for Frankie Luvu.
