Mackie Samoskevich Placed on Injured Reserve With Upper-Body Injury

Seattle Kraken forward Mackie Samoskevich (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday. Samoskevich is currently considered day-to-day but will miss the start of the 2026-27 regular season. Once fully healthy and cleared to return, he is projected to occupy a top-six forward role and receive playing time on Seattle's power-play unit.
