Oneil Cruz Sits Out Season Finale Despite Clean MRI on Knee

Oneil Cruz is absent from the Pittsburgh Pirates' lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers after being forced to exit Saturday's contest with a left knee injury. An MRI came back negative per Kevin Gorman, but the team is not pushing him to play in the regular-season finale. He finishes the 2026 campaign hitting .280/.368/.486 with 20 home runs and 30 stolen bases over 97 total contests.
