The New York Knicks have officially signed rookie second-round pick Tyler Nickel to a two-way contract. Selected 47th overall in June, the 6-foot-7 Vanderbilt product and 3-point specialist impressed in Summer League by shooting 41.3 percent on treys across five games in Vegas, including a six-three-pointer performance against the Nets. Choosing to begin his professional career in New York rather than return to college, Nickel joins a training camp roster that has reached 20 players.
