Fernando Tatis Gets Rare Day Off in Padres Regular-Season Finale

Fernando Tatis is absent from the lineup for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Diamondbacks, marking his first day off since August 12. Tatis has been scorching-hot down the stretch, slashing .337/.413/.652 with eight home runs in September alone. Dustin Harris will fill in by playing right field, while Jake Cronenworth covers second base for San Diego.
