J.J. McCarthy Appears on Giants' Radar Amid Quarterback Search

Minnesota Vikings third-string quarterback J.J. McCarthy has been cited as a potential trade target for the New York Giants. The Giants are actively exploring quarterback options after losing rookie starter Jaxson Dart for the regular season to a knee injury. While Jameis Winston takes the start in Week 3 against Tennessee, New York's front office is gathering evaluation data on various backups across the league, though McCarthy has slipped to third on Minnesota's depth chart.
