Andrei Iosivas Placed on IR Following Thumb Surgery
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas has been placed on injured reserve after sustaining a ligament injury in his thumb that required surgery. Entering a contract year and looking for a bounce-back season, Iosivas is projected to be sidelined for 4 to 6 weeks. His placement on IR prompted corresponding roster moves by the Bengals prior to their Week 3 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
