Chargers Sign Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei To Active Roster

The Los Angeles Chargers signed quarterback DJ Uiagalelei to the active roster after backup quarterback Trey Lance popped up on Friday's injury report as questionable. Uiagalelei will serve as the backup to Justin Herbert against the Buffalo Bills if Lance is unavailable. The roster spot was opened after offensive lineman Trey Pipkins III was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, requiring him to miss at least four games.
