Vanderbilt's Sedrick Alexander Honors Chris Johnson With ALS Pledge
Former Tennessee Titans star running back Chris Johnson was recently honored by Vanderbilt running back Sedrick Alexander, who pledged to donate $280 per touchdown to the ALS Association following Johnson's diagnosis earlier this year. Johnson enjoyed a legendary NFL career, earning three Pro Bowl selections and winning Offensive Player of the Year in 2009 after setting the single-season scrimmage yards record with 2,509 yards during his standout six-season tenure in Tennessee.
