Andrés Muñoz Placed on Injured List with Right Knee Inflammation

Seattle Mariners closer Andrés Muñoz has been placed on the injured list due to right knee inflammation and will not throw any pitches during the final weekend of the regular season. The shutdown comes as the Mariners wrap up their schedule following a 7-5 loss to the Angels. Muñoz's absence is a significant blow to the bullpen as Seattle navigates the conclusion of their campaign and looks ahead to necessary offseason adjustments.
