Gavin Hollowell Reinstated from 15-Day Injured List by Cubs

Right-handed reliever Gavin Hollowell was reinstated from the 15-day injured list by the Chicago Cubs after being sidelined since August 31 with right shoulder inflammation. The bullpen arm has delivered strong results in a limited sample for Chicago this season, posting a 2.51 ERA (four earned runs over 14.1 innings) with 13 strikeouts and eight walks across 14 relief appearances. He takes the roster spot vacated by Edward Cabrera's move to emergency leave.
