Brendan Beck Recalled From Triple-A to Start Friday's Game for Yankees

The New York Yankees will recall Brendan Beck from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to start the first game of Friday's doubleheader against the Orioles after Saturday's game was rescheduled due to inclement weather. Beck will make his second MLB start and fourth appearance, following a strong Triple-A campaign where he went 10-2 with a 2.93 ERA and 1.06 WHIP over 135.1 innings. In previous major league outings, he allowed seven runs across 7.2 innings with five strikeouts.
