Salvador Perez Blasts 20th Home Run of the Season

Salvador Perez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a strikeout during a 9-1 loss to the White Sox. Perez launched his first homer since Sept. 6, taking David Sandlin deep in the fourth inning to put the Royals on the board. This year, the 36-year-old has slashed .228/.272/.378 with 20 homers and 75 RBI across 615 plate appearances, continuing to provide veteran presence and power in the middle of the Kansas City lineup despite the team's struggles.
